Assignment #4: Empathy
Empathy is the capacity to recognize emotions that are being experienced by another sentient or fictional being. One may need to have a certain amount of empathy before being able to experience accurate sympathy or compassion.

Assigment #3: Television commercial
The idea of this Tvc about the new edition shoe from Lakai footwear.Meanwhile for the concept is about the story behind the shoe itself. By using the name "out of control" for the commercial,the story about the shoe having a soul for skateboard.Thus in this commercial,also shows that the shoe itself is way beyond comfortable.Lastly by putting an attractive scene such as humor can make it unforgettable.
Idea & Concepts
The idea for this government commercial advertisement is all about telling the people about the public transportation. For the concepts of this advertisement is a bit unique for a government advertisement,because of the attractiveness visual graphic,such as the sketching part. With this kind of unique advertisement, it can make the people stay and watch it till it finish without zip zapping the channel.

Assigment #2 : Father of Advertising
David Ogilvy
A man that was born with great vision. When many struggle to transmit messages through advertisement, he managed to do so with ease. Not only that, in the ear where people place extra effort to be creative,he did it in the simplest way (but still,creative) that caught many competitors off- guard.
For examples,Hathaway Shirt advertisement,Dove advertisement,and also Rolls Royce.These are the company that David Ogilvy boost their market with the great innovation and creative poster.From these we can see that Ogilvy and Matters hold many account of big companies.As a award winning copy-writer for several times.His major motto is always "never spend money on advertising which do not sell".
As time and era passes by,advertising grows from having as many body copy to describe a product into having as minimal of words to send the messages.Ogilvy realize that change,and he overcome the excessive body copy on an advert by many ways such as, placing a public figure in the advertisement to make it more appealing to the public.Beside that, humor is also one of the way he used to attract the audience.
For the past decades,ogilvy has indeed become a breakthrough in the advertising world. In quoting his words "Never stop testing and your advertising will never stop improving" . Ogilvy's principal is used for motivational purposes.

Assigment#1:Business without advertising?
They say business without advertising is pretty much like winking at a girl in the dark. you know what you're doing but everyone else doesn't. why is this so?
In conducting a business,you need consumers to buy your product or services that you provide for. Thus they must be aware of the existence of your business. This is why conducting business without advertising is like winking at a girl in the dark. When you wink at a girl,you hope for them to notice and be responsive. But how can they do so without actually seeing you?
It is not that without awareness that your product wont be bought at all,it is only less likely for it to be bought in a higher quantity. Massive success is of course very much desired. Hence the need to conduct promotional activities to make your product known. This is when the role of advertising comes in. With advertising, promotional activities can be conducted at a wider scale. This guarantees more exposure and with higher awareness, it is more likely for consumers to buy your product. Of course this is subjected to other factors like the quality of your products but nevertheless, advertising is indeed the first step in ensuring the success of a business.
